What is the Build-Own-Operate (BOO) model?
Under our BOO model, JSL handles all aspects of the power plant—design, financing, construction, ownership, operation, and maintenance. You simply pay for the electricity you consume ($/kWh) without any upfront capital investment.
Do I need to invest capital to get power from JSL?
No. Our service charge model eliminates upfront capital requirements. You pay only for the energy you consume through a $/kWh tariff, making it a cost-effective solution with zero initial investment.
What capacity power plants can JSL provide?
We specialize in Independent Power Plants from 1 MW and above, designed to meet the specific needs of your facility. Our current operational plants range from 1,200 kW to 2,300 kW.
How reliable is the power supply?
We guarantee 24/7 uninterrupted power supply with zero downtime. Our dedicated onsite and offsite teams monitor and maintain the plant around the clock to ensure continuous operation.
What about maintenance and repairs?
All operation and maintenance are handled by JSL. Our 24/7/365 technical teams ensure optimal performance, preventive maintenance, and immediate response to any issues.

What services does JEL provide?
JEL is a fully integrated natural gas company offering exploration, production, processing, trading, contract management, and distribution services across the entire gas value chain.
How is gas delivered to customers?
- We deliver natural gas in three formats:
Piped Natural Gas (PNG) - Direct pipeline connections - Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) - Mobile delivery via trucks
- Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) - For long-distance transport
Do you guarantee uninterrupted gas supply?
Yes. JEL guarantees 24/7 uninterrupted natural gas supply to all our clients. Our robust infrastructure and strong network connections ensure continuous availability.
What volume of gas can JEL supply?
We consistently supply over 40 Million Standard Cubic Feet per day (MMscf/d) and have delivered over 2.1 Billion Standard Cubic Feet (BSCF) to date. We can scale to meet your specific requirements.
Who are JEL's typical customers?
We serve wholesale and retail markets including power generation companies, industrial manufacturers, commercial facilities, and other stakeholders in the oil & gas industry.
How do I get a gas supply contract with JEL?

Does JEL handle gas trading?
As a licensed Natural Gas Shipper, Junaid Energy Limited (JEL) is authorized to ship gas through the Escravos–Lagos Pipeline System (NGIC). We actively trade natural gas across Nigeria’s gas transmission network, linking producers to markets and delivering reliable, competitively priced gas to customers.
JEL is also strategically positioned to participate in future gas trading on the Ajaokuta–Kaduna–Kano (AKK) pipeline and the West African Gas Pipeline (WAGP), supporting domestic and regional gas market expansion.

What are your payment terms?
For BOO projects, you pay only for energy consumed through a $/kWh tariff. For other services, payment terms are negotiated based on project scope and structure.

Can you work with existing power infrastructure?
Yes. We can assess, optimize, and integrate with existing systems or design entirely new solutions based on your specific situation.
What happens if there's a technical issue with the power plant?
Our 24/7/365 technical teams respond immediately to any issues. With onsite and offsite monitoring, problems are often identified and resolved before they impact operations.
Do you work outside Lagos?
